Enoughness

Sitting on a small 180m2 site close to the city, this project had to use every inch we could to achieve what our clients were after. They like to live a life of ‘less is more’ and were excited to see what they could do to achieve their goals. Enoughness - NounEdit. enoughness (uncountable). The state or condition of being enough; sufficiency; adequacy. The design of this two-storey townhouse was developed to use every nook and cranny to obtain storage and usable space. Town Planning and Building constraints made this one a tough project, however the outcome was stunning.

The two storey light blue weatherboard house was completed by a competent builder with an eye for detail and understood the clients brief to perfection. The lounge room boasts an electric fire with views to the front and to the light court. The study was inbuilt and the same timber was used throughout the building to provide continuation. White walls and ceilings with black feature trims enlarge the areas and give the sense of light and space. The living area leads out to a lovely deck area to the rear and a beautiful verandah frames the front of the house for a north facing street frontage.
